Service Description

This session is for those who are thinking of starting the 1:1 Brazilian Portuguese course. During these 45-minute session, we are going to talk about: - your current language level - your motivation and goals - other languages you speak - my resources, methodologies and approaches - What'sApp Exchange Group (optional) - Google Classroom access - Monthly Virtual Conversation Group Meetings (optional) - our availability - after class practising time - discuss all your questions and concerns - start our first lesson (time allowing) When I start a new course with a new student, I like to know how he/she usually learns content better. For example, think about when you were in school: - How did you prefer studying? - Did you use to feel the need to see pictures, make your own notes, written exercises? - Did you use books? - What would you help you remember things better? - How do you feel about homework? In order to make the most of your language adventure, we are often going to talk about what you like to do in your free time, what you like to read and watch. The more I know about you, easier it will be for me to be able to find you ways to be exposed to the language: - YouTube channels - Films - Series - Books - Print or online articles I absolutely love my job and I also want you to enjoy yourself, feel comfortable to make questions and review your learning plan at any time.
